We are engineers and technologists who test, commission, maintain, and install electrical power systems. We go looking for the issues that haven't shown up yet, because they will. Either now or during an outage. If you are responsible for uptime on medium- or high-voltage equipment, we are the crew that verifies the system actually does what the drawings said it would.

Grid Technical Solutions operates under a rigorously accredited Health & Safety Management System. Our Certificate of Recognition (COR) confirms that an independent, certified auditor has tested our program against provincial Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) benchmarks and found it fully compliant. COR is a benchmark that we continually push beyond.

How we work

Work that matches a published package is sold as that package. Overflow rates apply only when the work does not fit a package: $2,400 per day or $275 per hour, 8-hour minimum on travel days. Time-and-materials for commissioning or acceptance testing is quoted separately and will not undercut the package price. 50% to schedule the mobilization, balance on the closeout package. Cancellation inside 5 business days: 40% of the package or actual costs, whichever is greater. Client supplies access, LOTO authority, and one person who can say yes. Purchase orders and invoices: Grid Technical Solutions Inc. All prices CAD. Travel, ferries, rooms, and rentals extra (cost + 10%). Valid 90 days from enquiry.
